The Summer Tree
I normally don’t like to put up more than 1 image from a specific location, especially taken at the same time. However, in this case, I can’t help but make an exception.
Located at the same overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway as the “Winter Tree”, this tree is the perfect juxtaposition.
As I stood in between them, it felt like a metaphor. To the left, one tree, full of life with green leaves. To the right, a lifeless and barren tree. Summer and Winter represented on either side, while I stood there on a cool October night. It was almost too perfect.
