Oceanside Pier
The Oceanside Pier in California has been destroyed by heavy storms five times since it was first built in 1888. In calmer weather, it provides a beautiful photographic element that contrasts with the sea and the sky.
On this recent trip, the weather was absolutely ideal for what I was looking for; a color filled sky at sunset, followed by deep blues and purples as the sky transitioned to night. Just warm enough to allow me to be out in the high tide, yet cool enough to have the pier nearly to myself. A rare opportunity to photograph an iconic location, without a single person in view.
This image is available as either as a traditional Fine Art Print in 10”x15” or 16”x24” with a .8” border around the image, or as a Print On Aluminum Dibond, in 10”x15” or 16”x24”. The Print on Aluminum Dibond comes ready to mount on a wall, and will be available in extremely limited numbers.
